Don't thank me.  I wasn't real keen on Biden as the VP pick, but this is exactly what we need from someone in his position.

John McCain hates my wife because she's a "gook."

This is why I was satisfied, even excited, by the Biden pick.  He's little bit there on growing up with "that kid" demonstrates it perfectly.  Biden connects with the Rust Belt, especially older white folks.

And he can be brutal without turning off voters.

Be nice to America. Or we'll bring democracy to you country.

Oh, I dunno.  I think that Biden was a great pick.

I understand the reluctance of some regarding Biden, primarily due to his ties to the financial industry, and his relative conservatism.  But I believe that he was a very good pick, because he balanced off "new change" with "old stable".

At first, I thought he was a pick I could live with only. I knew there was spark there, but I thought it was thisclose to being extinguished.

How wrong was I.

Damn, if Joe doesn't bring the FI-YAH!! I LOVE it. Now I can't wait to see him. Have you ever seen a man happier to be where he is?

Never, in a million years, did I think I'd become such a fan. I have actually been inspired by Biden's example, believe it or not. Talk about not seeing that coming. And I was SO sore about the "fresh and clean" thing, thought it was stupid, so indicative of a man who could not shut up, so sad that his promise seemed long gone.

I was wrong.

He brings the energy of someone who's been unleashed...someone who's been waiting to just bring it. Thank God/Allah/Yahweh/FSM/Your Diety Here for that.

Bring the fire, Joe--bring it!

Presumptuous is the new uppity.

Biden is beginning to grow on me.  I've had my problems with the man's lousy record, but compared to what we currently have on Pennsylvania Avenue, he'll do in his role as Obama's attack dog.

UNLEASH THE JOE BIDEN!

I hope somewhere in that appearance he said the word "malarkey".....maybe even "lying".

what I'm talking about. I am sick and tired of the dems playing nice guy. Nice guys finish last. We need Joe to be the straight shooter, no holds guy that he is. He will absolutely cream her in a debate.
by NancyImpeachBush on Sat Sep 6th, 2008 at 12:20:35 PM EST
I watched this, laughed out loud, and clapped for joy. This is what needs to be said. I can barely stand to watch McCain and Palin say all their bullshit and not get called out on it. Biden does it.

Go Joe!

by donnah on Sat Sep 6th, 2008 at 01:03:17 PM EST
If Biden helps defeat McCain and Palin, then OK, but I have never been impressed with his supposed "foreign policy" expertise, at least not where it applies to the Middle East and the Muslim world in general, and Iraq and Palestine in particular. It is just more of the same bullshit that shows a complete disregard of the realities of the area.
by Hurria (Muslawia@gmail.com) on Sat Sep 6th, 2008 at 02:16:33 PM EST
This video is awesome and the Dems need some fight out there on the stump.

I agree Hurria about Biden's so called foreign policy experience.  In the Fd up beltway world, being around forever is more important than actually making correct decisions.
